A nice place to just get away...
My
husband and I just got back from staying here at the "Blue Fish" Condo
at the Hilton Head Resort and
we loved the peace and quiet. As
parents of two children, we enjoyed getting away just the two of us
to relax
and enjoy ourselves. We had stayed at other places on
the island before staying at the HHR and had paid more
at other hotels
to sit on beaches that were often too crowded. Not at the HHR,
we were often surprised by how
few people were on the beach. We
LOVED going down to Coco's (the beach bar) after the sun went down.
Its a
nice mix of people who all gather to watch the sunset and enjoy
one of the great Pina Coladas. You can tell the
rooms have recently
been redone, and even though they are small, they too are nice and
quiet to relax after a
long day at the beach. All in all, you
couldn't beat the value. Our nice, long weekend definitely gave us
some
much needed R & R.

PM
We just took our 4 kids to Hilton Head for SB. A friend
of ours told us about this place so we contacted the
owners to check
it out. They were to so nice to us to make sure that our stay
was the very best it could be.
From the first time I emailed the owner
to get a little more information to the times that I spoke with Hank
over
the phone, he was always willing to give information. Our
stay was good as the kids had a great time playing
in the ocean.
They especially liked the animal facts along the boardwalk explaining
the HHI wildlife.
The only thing that bad thing about our stay
was that we got a little too sun burnt on the first day, so be sure
to
pack the sunscreen! The shuttle that runs across the boardwalk
was nice so we didn't have to
carry our lawn chairs all the way to
the beach. The boardwalk to the beach is a little long, so for
the elderly
or those parents with small children, the shuttle is definitely
worth the wait. The kids really enjoyed the short
drive to Shelter
Cove for the weekly fireworks! They are a can't miss!
